The hyphen key on my 13" MBP-TB stopped working a few days ago. Took it to the Genius Bar, and the fix is to basically swap out all the internals (described as "Top Case with Battery" on the work order)! A $600+ repair (covered under warranty) for a single key not working. Yikes!

I suspect the Touchbar component is a single component the cannot be repaired so the entire thing was replaced.

It was one of the physical keys, not the touchbar. I (naively I guess) thought they would be able to just replace that key and I would be on my way. Instead, I had to leave my computer there for 3-5 days to get the repair done.
