What good are benchmarks, if you don't state your needs? Email, word processing, web surfing, general media consumption, need for weight reduction...go MBA. Gaming, need of ODD, possible graphical intensive tasks, go MBP.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A5313e Safari/7534.48.3)

My needs are email, word processing and web surfing.

    Air.

The main question is if you don't want to compromise on power or portability.

With the flash storage on the air, it should be zipper than the 13" pro for all hard drive related tasks. As for processor related tasks, I dont need all that power since I just need it for basic usage.
