I have an early 2011 MBP 15. I have an optibay installed with the stock 500 gb drive that came with it and an Intel SSD in the regular drive bay. And i noticed that when i "sleep it" before i go to bed, in the morning it woke itself up sometime in the night.

This DOESNT happen when not in clamshell mode, i tested it. I also tried disabling the "allow devices to wake the computer via bluetooth" option as i use an magic mouse and an previous generation wireless keyboard. I don't have internet sharing turned on.

Running latest Lion. Any advice on what could this be?

I'm assuming it's plugged in? MBP's just go back to sleep if you try turning them on with bluetooth or another device when they are in clamshell and running off battery.

Also, I would try turning off your bluetooth for the night just to rule that out completely. I have had my KB/Mouse wake my computer because of low battery before even with that box checked, so you never know.

Now that you mention it, my mouse batteries were low. In fact the batteries died on me today so i changed them. Will try leaving bluetooth on for tonight and if it still wakes up i will try turning it off.

Tnx for the input.
