MBP will only connect at G level wireless

On an N router (Netgear n150 WNR1000v2)

same thing with the AppleTV and iPhone 4.

I tested the router in N mode only and none of the devices would hook up.


Am I missing some setting on the router?

Take your router off of compatibility mode.

I came back to report, thanks for the input. I don't know what that is exactly but my googling earlier led me to try a different wireless security setting and that solved it.

(WPA2 instead of WPA but still just 72 Mbit/s)
