MBP with ACD

I'm thinking of buying a new MBP with an Apple display.

Can you use the ACD screen as the main screen, with the MBP screen acting as an extension, or does it only work the other way around?

lol. YOu can DEFINATELY use the ACD as the main screen....i even did that with my ibook 😀 Just in your diplay preferences you just adjust which side the ACD is on and which the macbook pro is on and then which one yyou want the task bar to be on
