It isn't the disk, its the drive. I'm assuming you have a matshita drive. The name says it all. I have one MacBook with a matshita and one with another brand that reads the leopard disc just fine.

wish mine worked

worked perfectly as well

Boy, I wish I could say the same thing. I downloaded a copy of leopard straight from apple developer. I figured I should make a couple copies so I could have backups and get it off my hard drive. I used my MBP to burn 2 copies of leopard with toast 8 and both were verified before being ejected. But, when I put them back into the mbp, they were rejected the same as others have decribed. So, i thought maybe something was wrong with toast, so I used Burn- wrote and verified fine, but still was spit out of the mbp.

The really annoying part here is that all 3 copies work in another mac G5 that I tried at my school!! What kind of screwed up *** is this? My mbp will make copies of the dvd image, but then it won't read them??? This is some crazy stuff and I hope apple gets on their game here. (note: I was using DVD +R DL DVDs - the MBP should write and read these just fine)
