I've just got a new MBP having ditched my old PowerBook.

With the iPhone plugged in, the MBP doesn't appear to sleep properly. The light stays constant (rather than breathing) and the iPhone continues to charge. If I press a key, it will all spring to life again.

Is this normal? My PB would go to sleep when told and the iPhone would stop charging. Job done.

Maybe it's a feature no a bug? The pulsing LED is deep sleep (or hibernation for y'all Windows ppl), which means all RAM is written is disk the computer just powers to almost zero (just enough to pule the LED). When you have a phone charging, it goes to regular sleep, which explains why you can wake your computer. It's probably just so people who want their iPhones charging while their computers are sleeping. If you want it to stop charging then just unplug the phone.
