MBP13' w/ TB (Lid Discoloration)

I just realized this but with the two photos attached, around the Apple logo itself do you see the circle that is a bit dark? Does anyone have something like this on their laptop? I've had it for a few weeks but just realized it now. (I don't put drinks/coffee mugs on top of my laptop lid)

Was thinking of taking this back to the Apple store for a replacement even though I purchased it from Amazon. Love the laptop so far!

Could be dirt or residue from something. Try taking an cotton ball and alcohol and rubbing it off. I've done this with the lid of my MBP, and I was pretty surprised at how much dirt comes off.

That looks like the cut out of the foam that it's embedded in

Thank you both for your input. It isn't really dirt per say and did try to clean it with alcohol and a cotton ball.

I just want to know if you noticed something like this, would you exchange it?
