Hey guys,

Weird issue I am having after connecting my mbp to a thunderbolt to hdmi adapter.

Now whenever I turn on my macbook pro the screen is 16x 9 aspect ratio, then at the login menu it switches to full screen..

Any ideas of how to fix this? I can take video if needed.

heres a video.

The MBP may be thinking initially that you have a 16:9 screen attached, what happens when you remove the adapter?

Agree, this is usually what happens when a Mac is connected to an external display and is set to the "ideal resolution for external display" setting (or whatever the wording is in the Preferences pane.

I had this issue as well with my rMBP. It was solved via a PRAM reset.
