MBPr came with corrupted iPhoto

As the title says, I am trying to open iPhoto for photo stream and even tried to download the update.
Could they have shut it down before the installation?

The past 3 days I had it, I restarted at least 10+ times.

Nope, the old macs use to have a disc, now they just have it preinstalled on new macs and no more discs.

You won't, when you purchase a new Mac and sign into the app store, the iLife suite is placed into your purchased list.

Oh now I see, for everyone else that has a problem with this, just go to purchased in the App Store and it asks you to accept for iLife.

Once you update iLife, it appears in your list of apps bought in the App store.

Then, you can uninstall, download again and reinstall without pay anything for iPhoto.
