Im connecting a 16" M1 MBP to a TV using an HDMI cable, but on the TV i can only see the opened windows scattered all around. I cant get out of this mode, cant see each window/app separately, cant operate the mbp normally... and everything on my mbp display is so much smaller... dont look normal to me.

When I connect an external display I always switch from mirroring to extended desktop.
Hmm... i have 3 HDMI ports on my TV. One of them is called eARC/ARC the other two have no special inscription. On the eARC port i noticed that it works fine, whereas on the 2 plain HDMI ports the problem occurs... all ok now.
