I was surprised to find that if compared to the local price of the same iPhone the MacBook price are very different. In Germany for example the M2 MBP is 17% of an iPhone value more than in US compared to the same iPhone, while for the 14 MBP the prices are same if compared to local iPhone.

I expected that everywhere to be the same ratio as is the case for MBP 14.

The U.S. prices are list prices. They don't include sales tax which add as much as 10%.
