MCB Pro 17" DVI-HDMI

I connected my MAB Pro with my TV with DVI to HDMI cable but there is no sound. How can i activate the sound?

I think your problem is that DVI does not normally support sound.

EDIT: It would be helpful to know what is the year of your 17" MBP for us to know what your connections options are.

(thunderbolt to HDMI) for my late 2011 15" MBP and it has sound to the TV. Are you using something similar?
