Ive got about $200 to replace the superdrive with an SSD.

is the MCE worth it or should i just buy off ebay? if so, recommendations (tools, superdrive enclosure + caddy)

is 128 GB SDD enough for a boot drive + iPhoto and library ( 30gb ) Itunes music (10 gb )

will having an SSD make iPhoto run faster?

It is not worth it. That is a 2$ mSATA to SATA bridge with an aluminium frame made in China and a MCE sticker on top. There is no qualitative difference between that and ebay offerings. It is only marketing. MCE markets to americans and Apple fans and thinks they can get away with their prices. It is a complete waste of money.

What would i need aside from something like this?

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/HDD-Bay-2nd-..._Drive_Bay_Caddies&hash=item4ac6068841&_uhb=1

to install this -

and would 128 GB be large enough?

I've been buying Optibay caddies from Amazon for $12 shipped via Prime and they work just fine.

Nothing.
Well your hands and a some tools to open the MBP ;)
You don't even need the screws. It is a really tight fit. If you take a piece of paper fold it and press it in the little bit of space left there is no room for movement. I kind stopped fiddling with those tiny screws in those little difficult to reach holes and just put in there.

Sure. Use some tape or something to secure it. Or screw it to the bottom if there are holes.
Basically all you have to take care of is make sure it doesn't rattle in that case because that is annoying. It is really easy to put it in and not really any mistake one can make. Even loosing all the screws is not an issue. Unless you loose them under the logic board, it is a bit difficult to shake them out again.
