Agreed. Why people ruin these videos with vulgarity is beyond me. Did you report it?

Although vulgarity is considered "adult language," it is, in actuality, very very childish.

It is just words, who cares. Meanings are arbitrarily assigned. If the words are not directed at you, why is it a big deal? Relax. And isn't reporting it (i.e. telling on someone) childish. I think people do that in
1st grade.

...The wireless keyboard working so well along with a dearth of new apps designed for aspiring manuscript and screenplay writers means this just became a portable work machine as well...

This doesn't make sense - how does a dearth of new apps for writers make it a better work machine for writers?

I liked the video too. I got the Space Grey because I didn't like my white iPad 3 color all that much but I'm thinking that with the smaller bevel the white may look a tad better now. Can't wait to get a Smart Cover!

I respect your view that you consider adult language vulgar, even though I certainly don't agree with it. Having said that, the OP has put a disclaimer regarding the language right above the video. In my opinion that's not unlike the classification warnings shown before a movie in the cinema. Would it be reasonable for the viewer to get up and make a point about it to the clerk, even after the language classification was shown before hand?

Haha very cool video, love the cat too! :)

Your warning about language wasn't enough for some and they still clicked on it just so they could be offended lol. I love elitism.

I like the red cover you had btw. Looks very bright, almost orange. Very nice anyway :)

The language (in the video) is atrocious and not suitable for a mixed use forum.

That's why its an external link with a warning about the language.

Instead of reporting something with profanity you find offensive, how about you just not watch it. Its like people go out of their way to be offended about things.

Me and my cat review the iPad Air after a desperate race to the Apple Store.

I know grammar pedants are a pain in the neck...but cats ALWAYS precede humans in all references to both, no matter what the sentence construction.

If you don't believe me, ask your cat who is more important!

;) :D

Fun vid, now go wash out your mouth (not really).

I'm am slightly annoyed though, as now I'm seriously reconsidering my space gray choice.

So I preordered the iPad through Verizon (big mistake) and after cancelling that debacle, raced a couple of hours up the road to the nearest city to buy one.

And then decided to make a fun video of the unboxing (warning: there are some f-bombs and offensive language in the video...)

http://youtu.be/cQprj39qitw :D

I guess it's more that than a review, but I was definitely stoked to get the thing. I've only owned the iPad 1 in the past, and this is such an upgrade it's silly. The screen is finally amazing enough to read magazines on, and I've actually subscribed to a few (the original iPad was painfully close to being readable, but didn't quite make the mark).

I'm especially enjoying buying the Kingdom Rush games again in HD too and restarting them (only mild sarcasm there, honest...).

The wireless keyboard working so well along with a dearth of new apps designed for aspiring manuscript and screenplay writers means this just became a portable work machine as well.

Honestly if I could just play roms on it I don't think I would need a traditional laptop anymore... maybe I'll have to explore the world of jailbreaking one day.

So, since you mentioned that you bought from Verizon first, I imagine that you wanted to get the cellular model first. Then in the review I noticed that it was a Wifi only model. Did you decide later that cellular wasn't worth getting?

Thanks for the video. It convinced me to get the Apple keyboard instead of the Zagg I was looking at.

The cat was great. He is adorable, and I actually laughed out loud at some of his subtitles. :)

NExt time let your cat do more! You kinda hogged most the video and I am sure your cat is pissed!

Glad you got your Air, I am liking mine too!

I gotta wonder, what's the furthest distance someone here has driving for an Apple product?

I was about to drive up to 3 hours one way for an available in store (Target) iPad Air, until the rMini was released for ordering just earlier this morning.

"We need some danger music". lol!

And your cat is adorable.

I don't know what's worse.

Your comment ... or that someone voted it up 1.

It's humour, relax and have a laugh.

Not sure what happened!

When the forums went down, some of my posts disappeared, including a bunch of replies to people....

and the video reply me and my cat sent to you all. Thanks for watching my video everyone; we had fun making it, and here's the thank-you video Mowzer and I made you:

Late to the party, but I loved the video! I'm owned by a cat (or two) myself, and yours is pretty cool. :)
