Me.com forwarding not working?

I set it up in preferences to forward to my gmail account but nothing is received, and if I send a test email to me.com it doesn't forward but the test email doesn't appear in me.com either, it just vanished. Any ideas? If I try to set up a me.com account in Gmail the authentication fails
