So for all of us without an @me.com address. When do you think Apple will allow us to do so?

I think we will have the ability to download iOS 5 on Friday the 7th (iCloud goes live).

Huge demand on Apple's servers with iTunes Match and all things iCloud. After the initial onslaught (perhaps a week), we will see the release of the new iPhone 5 (perhaps the 14th?).

Would be nice to set up iCloud before upgrading, so users can "cut the cord" and backup their iPhone 5 from the Cloud without the need for iTunes.

I think iOS 5 will be released a day or so after the announcement.
