Means to kickstart Universal Control?

My Ventura B2 is an upgrade install to Monterey that did a beautiful job with UC. With Ventura it just does not work. I occasionally get a connection to an iPad running iPadOS 16 b2.
Botting Montery from a second disk all works beautifully. I have tried rebooting toggling the settings, logging off iCloud etc.
Nothing.
I sure would like this to work.

Just to let you know, for me, UC works better under Ventura B2 than either B1 or Monterey. In fact, I have UC working simultaneously between two M1 MBPs running Ventura B2 and an Intel MBP running Monterey.
