Hi is there any mechanical keyboard with these switches that go for $120 and under? Thank you.

https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/

It depends from you are looking for

full size

tenkeyless (similar to apple wireless keyboard size and form factor)

60% (ultra compact keyboard such as Poker II/III)

Mathias keyboard are fully compatible with Mac (with the Apple keyboard layout)

It's not MX Cherry mechanical keyboard but apparently it feels as good as mechanical switches provide

About MX switches, blue are noisy, brown a light and tactile bump, reds are lighter and linear
I very like red/brown, in opposite, i found blue quite unpleasant
Nonetheless, Brown is a great compromise

Stay away from Das Keyboard's new model. I preordered the new Mac version of their latest keyboard, as the PC version uses Cherry MX switches. Well, the Mac version doesn't. It uses crappy Greetech switches, so it went back quickly.

I use the Matias Tactile Pro and the Quiet Pro on my Macs and love them both. My wife only loves the quiet pro, because the other one is quite noisy.

Are you serious, even the blue switches? I have the older Mac model and was thinking about upgrading.

Yes, like 5 sets of high heals on a wood floor noisy. Loved mine when it was here ;)

New Pok3r is great mechanical keyboard to start
But i recommend you the greatest of all, HHKB, best keyboard ever, Topre for life

Yup, Greentech switches
I would buy the keyboard if they still had the cherry switches.

It's pretty terrible. They switched OEM's too, so even the keycaps are low quality. They now use a ruler like device that attaches under the backside of the keyboard with magnets to provide tilt. It's nowhere near as significant as the feet on the old keyboard, so it sits a lot more flat on the desk.

Honestly, aside from the media keys (which some may hate) and the USB hub, everything's a downgrade from the old model.

the removal of the glossy finish is the biggest plus imho, but this kind of switches and "quality" caps and no backlight for 170! dollars, lololol, no way.
