I am a little new to the tech/mac world, but I have recently put together a media center using a Mac Mini and a 500gb ministack. I love the system and it works great! However, I have now run out of room on the ministack, as I have converted over most of my DVDs to digital.

My question is: What is the best way to go about adding more storage space?

Am I better off replacing my ministack with a 2TB external HD? Or is adding an additional 1TB ministack just as good. I want to make sure the system works as efficiently as possible.

If it is best to replace the entire HD, what does everyone recommend for an HD in the 2TB range. I would go with the ministack, but they only go up to 1TB.

Thanks,

BEEF

If the ministack has firewire 400 on it then just use that to daisy-chain, unless your using USB from ministack to mini..

Then you need a powered USB hub to daisy chain the more ext drives to the mini..
