I currently have a series 4 watch and was interested in hearing that the new AW10 has Media Playback. I work in a warehouse environment and was wondering do you think listening to music on the speakers off the watch would be any good?

I'm interested in that feature the most and if so then I'll be considering getting it. Do you guys know how long it'll last from a full charge if I listen to music using it's builtin speakers? Hope it'll last 8-12 hrs at least.

pure speculation on my part - my guess is it might be okay for voice but mediocre (at best) for music.

if allowed in your work environment, personally I'd stick with bone conducting headphones such as Shockz so as to keep your ears unobstructed and not potentially annoy coworkers.

Not pure speculation (only partial), because the same feature works on The Ultra 2 running the beta of WatchOS. I have found that it is a convenient feature but (on the ultra at least) it is not very loud. It’s not loud enough to hear whole running (in Central Park anyway). In the shower I could just about hear it but when the watch gets wet the speakers get clogged and don’t work so well.

I'm curious about this too. I guess they didn't allow it to function during the hands-on at the event since it seems no one tried it, so have to wait until the reviews drop this week.
I'd like to casually use it by listening to a radio talk show, maybe some music and hopefully it's loud enough to hear, let's say when you're bike riding.

Casual listening around the house for sure. Biking, I highly doubt it. I’ll try it on my bike on Monday (of course the speakers/speaker volume on the AW 10 could be different).

Please let me know your thoughts when you do.

I'm trying to figure that out myself....I'm thinking it could be real handy in certain circumstances.

I can't get it to play from the Ultra 2 yet....only from the iPhone for some reason.

I just got done wiping down the car, cleaning the windshield and the rear glass, and it was nice to have tunes I could hear… Nice added feature…louder than I thought it would be……

So far in my experience the speakers aren’t very loud at all on the AW10, I feel like my Ultra 1 was louder. I do have an ultra 2 on order, not for this reason though.

In my experience around the house and in the garage the speaker on the Ultra 2 is plenty loud enough to enjoy and much louder than I anticipated....not the least bit tiny sounding, which is what I expected.

Hey there...

I was wondering what watch have you decided to keep at the end?
