OS X Medieval II: Total War

Does Medieval II have multiplayer where two people can play on the same campaign map in realtime? I'm not a fan of the later Total War iterations, though I might make the plunge if it has that feature.

Medieval Total War I is my absolute favourite, and I really, really wish there was a mod to enable map multiplayer on Windows.
 
It's been months I have touched my game console, this game was one of favorites. I would suggest everyone to give a try playing this fabulous game.
