Hello there,

my black leather case for the iPhone 11 pro has already been delivered. I've come to notice that there is a noticable gap in built quality between my X leather case and the 11 pro leather case. The new case feels thinner and is considerably lighter (23g vs. 19g) - of course this is due to the cut-out for the new and bigger camera system, but we're talking about 20% here. This new case will most definitely not hold up for 2 years.

Thoughts on this "issue"?

Unless there's different materials for different colors, I can't tell any difference in quality, other than that the midnight blue cover from my X is showing two years of use. The new one for my 11 Pro is Product red if that makes any difference. I guess I haven't really felt the need to weigh it, though.

YMMV, I am sitting here holding and inspecting a new XS Max leather case and a 11 Pro Max case, and they are totally identical in thickness, quality, material - I see absolutely nothing different between them.

I actually took my green leather Apple case back to the store yesterday because I opened it and it had white stripes on the green leather. Haven't seen anything like that. Wouldn't rub off. The Apple Store employee and I were both surprised it made it past QA
