...I always knew Apple would secretly launch all new products through New Zealand first. It only makes sense: NEW zeal for a product, NEEEWWW Zealand. Glad someone made this post to inform those who don't understand.

Because... that's the price? Seriously? Not everyone uses the US dollar. It says New Zealand dollar right in what you quoted.
