Meeting scem0 in NYC

Umm- I posted in the Pics forum, but it got deleted. Probably OT. Sorry mods.

Just wanted to let you guys know I'm meeting scem0 in NYC. Some of you asked to be kept up to date.
 
Have fun, it it certainly need to chat with people on a web forum and get to meet them in person. I got the chance to do that with some networking security guys from a different forum. Have fun, and be sure to buy me something nice at the Apple Store (15 Inch Powerbook would be nice 😛 )..

That would be nice! But I'd rather have the rumored 13 inch widescreen iBook. 🙂

Thanks for the update. When you return from your trip hopefully you'll have pictures for the pic thread.

Have a great time in NY and with Scem0. Maybe he'll update his blog with another adventure 😉

Ha-ha! Don't you guys worry- I'm sure we'll find plenty of ways to get into trouble. And we definitely will get some pics!
 
You didn't even show us photos from the last meeting you had with ? and..........? Ok, I forgot who specifically, but did you ever show us the photos?

I did! It was with ChipNovMac and PlaceofDis. Oh wait- no Chip posted those in the old Gayway thread. You can still find them there I think. Maybe if I get time I can dig for them.

Right- you guys wanted to go in November. I couldn't go at that time. And if you kept following me, I did say that December was a possibility. 😉

Not in the photo thread? Sorry, but that's where I thought you said you'd post them, but I guess that's what happens when you don't go to EVERY single thread at MacRumours, 24/7. I'll just ask Lacero if I have a question next time, thanks. 😉

If it was deleted from the Pics thread, my response to it also will be. I believe it was something along the lines of "Have a great time, you guys". So er, yeah, have a great time, you guys. 😀

OMG- I have just spent some of the best hours of my life with scem0. He is one of the most open, sweet, non-judgemental, positive people I've ever met. Guys- I don't even know how to tell you how great meeting him has been so far. I don't want to leave tomorrow! Well, we're gonna go get lunch now and take some pics for you guys!
 
I'm at the airport crying. Actually, I cried all the way to the airport after leaving scem0 at the bus station. It was a great weekend and I think I may have met one of the most special people I'll ever meet in my life. Yes- the weekend was THAT good.
 
Aww, I'm glad you guys had a great time.

Have you talked to Scem0 about your feelings? I guess it's a bit hard considering you're at the airport...

Yes- we started crying at the bus station. There was nothing left unsaid. It was the most amazing weekend. We did take 2 pics at the Apple store in SoHo. One was really bad though! I'll make sure to post it when I get it from him.
