Hi!

I would like to know where to buy 8GB ram (DDR3, 1066MHz) for my MacBook pro 2.5GHz (ebay,..)

Thanks for help!

OWC or Newegg.

OWC is currently $475.99 for 2x 4GB DDR3. They have a trade-in for Apple 2x 2GB DDR3 for $45. So with that, I think they have the best deal and warranty. Newegg is also a good vendor. I think folks have had good luck with G-Skill, which are a bit cheaper, last I checked.

My personal choice at the moment is OWC, both from past experience and the trade-in.

I would go to OWC. www.macsales.com

They have the best price and lifetime warranty. I have more than 5 Macs at home with all OWC memory including the one I'm typing on right now using 8GB DDR3 RAM. I have never gotten any issue with macsales RAM. They are the best.

OWC is good, no questions about that, but with ram they are identical specs and both have lifetime warranties. I've had defective ram from every mfg and they all handle it the same way and take roughly the same amount of time to resolve the issue. Big thing with OWC is you are working on an equal level with another person, not some automated machine.
