So I want to upgrade my RAM to 8Gb on my MacBook Pro 13" 2010... and also on another MBP 17" 2010... My question is, do I need unbuffered memory or registered (buffered)?? Also, which one do you recommend?? http://www.ebay.com/itm/8GB-2X-4GB-...ltDomain_0&hash=item2a138c7ed3#ht_6092wt_1090 or http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-8GB-2X4...ltDomain_0&hash=item4cf6f8aadb#ht_1052wt_1180 I live in Asia so I must order only for providers who offer international shipping. Thanks.
I'd take the 1333Hz [your first link] since its the stock version of your computer, the 1066Hz is lower then what you have now...or is it the bandwidth... anyways buffered is most stable but one clockspeed slower, it is typically used in servers and high end hardware, it is also more expensive. unbuffered is cheaper and used on regular computers. Will it make a difference to you? probably not. Unless your running some trippy applications.
