Memory - installation

My iBook is having some issues running as fast as id like it to. Whenever I view an online video such as on youtube, videos take forever to load and are somewhat grainy and slow looking. It is not the internet connection as we have a new Toshiba laptop that loads the videos in a snap and runs them quickly. some other things that id like to speed up but mostly the online videos bug me most.

I am looking to purchase some more RAM, but...i dont feel comfortable installing, do the apple stores install ram at the genius bar? how much would it cost to have someone install it?
