Hello,

I've been having problems with my late 2011 Macbook Pro. It originally came with Snow Leopard and 4gb of ram, which I upgraded to 8gb from Best Buy. It worked great without any issues. I skipped Lion, but did a clean install of Mountain Lion when it was available. Almost immediately, I started getting errors on Safari, occasionally shutting down.

Over the past month, my laptop became totally unstable to the point where Finder would crash. It was so bad I couldn't start the darn thing, so I wiped it and did another clean install of ML. Now Finder is no longer crashing, but Safari is occasionally.

After a quick search, I came across Rember. Problem is, it stopped running almost immediately so I thought I would post the Log here to see if anyone can help me interpret it. I am to the point where I am going to remove one of the memory modules to see if the problem goes away, or just go back to the factory 4gb memory.

Thanks,

Jerry

Here is the Rember log:

That is my plan, but before I do I pulled one of the 4 gb sticks and rerun the test. The stick I left in ran the test successfully, so I'll swap them out and rerun the test. If I get an error, I'll know which stick is bad.

Thanks,

Jerry
