Memory - Pro to Macbook

Is the memory used in a Macbook pro the same as in a regular Macbook laptop? I just upgraded my pro and would like to give the 2 sticks of memory to my Macbook if it works.

White 13" Macbook and a 15" Macbook Pro. Both purchased new last year from Apple.

The previous MacBook Pro with DDR2 RAM is compatible with the White MacBook 13".
