memory problem

my memory is missing , ive transfered all my files to an external hard drive , emptied the caches and reduced everything by half but theres still 50% of my memory being used what can i do , cheers jjj

Are you referring RAM or the Hard Disk?

It seems like your mixing the two.

Your System Profiler will report how much installed RAM you have. Butbigrell486 is probably right though.
