Does anyone know if its a significant change in performance upgrading an iBook G4 1.33ghz from 512mb ram to 1gb? I'm going to do it cause its like 50 bucks, but I just wanted to know before I made the purchase.

I'd definitely say so, since a friend recently did just that. Far less of the rotating beachball, mainly - well worth $50 for the performance gain. I also heard that apple laptops run more efficiently if both ram slots are filled, even with the same amount of ram.
