Memory / SSD testing

I just installed a 8GB GSkill memory kit and a OWC 240GB Mercury Extreme Pro SSD. I want to run hardware tests for both. What utilities could I download to make sure everything is up to par? I've seen some mention AJA System test for the SSD read/write speeds and memtest for memory?

I'm not familiar with the SSD test, but I have used memtest for years. To test the largest range of addresses, run it from single user mode. The app comes with instructions on how to do this (very simple, though).
