I have a MBPro with 4gb of ram. I want to upgrade to 8gb. Can I do this myself without voiding my warranty? If so, what is the best brand to go with? I have been looking at Crucial... decent stuff?

Thanks.

Yup crucial is a good brand so is corsair

There's actually a guide in the (newer?) owner's manual on how to change the RAM yourself if you need more confirmation that it doesn't void your warranty.

Depending on which MBP you have...I got 8GB of 1333GHz Corsair RAM from Amazon. $38 after $10 mail-in rebate.
