Planning on buying this Macbook Pro 15-inch: 2.3 GHz. but have already got some DDR3 1333Mhz Ram.. (2x4 Gig sticks).. Will these work ? As Ivy Bridge bus is 1600

I'm pretty sure you can use higher bandwidth in a low bandwidth bus and just waste the extra throughput. But using low bandwidth on a high speed bus could cause smoke and an unpleasant smell.
