I was at the Las Vegas Airport last week when I saw this guy with a ton of mascara. As I got closer:

Me: Are you Carrot Top?
CT: Yeah, that's me.

This was especially weird since the Public Service Announcements featuring him regarding luggage were playing all over the airport. And no, he didn't have any huge prop suitcase with him.

Dunno if I'd fancy a man wearing mascara, wouldn't turn me off, but wouldn't exactly be on a list of 'must-haves.' :p

I'm surprised mascara has caught on and not eye liner?

No...wait perhaps during ... still "no"

it's always the same with h&m and their alibi clothes collection for men

2 years ago it were 50% pink shirts, this year it were horizontal "i look like a russian sailor" stripes and this year mascara and at the end of the year it will all end up in the waste dumps again

Well, I have for stage or drag on Halloween, but that's about it. Makeup takes work. I don't know how you ladies do it. We men are lazy pigs. :) I mean my god, I don't even have hair to take care of. I love to just wash-n-go. :)

I would wear makeup, but it pretty much isn't socially acceptable yet. I did for Halloween once, when I went as a goth. It was hot. But I had girl friends help me. I dunno how you girls do it all the time, too much work!

A little role-reversal never hurt anyone!

Unless you get it in your eyes, then it stings like crazy!!

....so I've heard..

He...ck, I grew up during the 80s, of course I've worn mascara... lost and lots of times...

I'm also used to wearing make up from when I worked at the theatre. Though, that was a very extreme "mask". I rarely wore that in public. Especially after scaring the sh...pooh out of a bank teller... :D

Now, will I ever wear mascara, or any other make up again...? I doubt it... really, really doubt it... I guess those days are over... ;)

The hubby's eyelashes are already long and thick enough as it is (to many a woman's envy). I don't really see the need for him investing in man-scara anytime soon. I'm not sure I'd like it if he looked prettier than I did anyway. :D

Mascara

I barely have enough time for breakfast in the mornings on my way to work - don't think you'll be seeing me put mascara on while sat on a train or even worse, the tube!

Having had decades of practice, the women still get it all over their face, quite funny to watch.

But seriously. No, what will they think of next, blusher?!

Guys, grow some balls and let the stubble come out. Burp more often, oh, and its ok to scratch your arse.

F

Nah, but some of my now former bandmates used to wear it for shows. They didn't do it themselves, made one their girlfriends put it on for them :D It's not really that i'm so opposed to wearing mascara, just more the fact that i dont really need the extra step in my daily routine. Besides, i have rather nice lashes as it is, no need to beef them up any more :)

Good lord, the last thing I need is something else to do before I leave the house in the morning. I can barely remember to make the coffee...
