Can anyone tell me why my clock and bluetooth menu bar dont appear when i selected them to show?

I have to go into prefs and click the show clock again, whilst the bluetooth is already selected and i have to uncheck and check for it to appear?

Anyone know how to fix this?

I did a clean install for other reasons (file vault password) and im happy with everything (went from 40gb on HD to 16Gb, nice!) - so its weird that this little glitch occurs after a clean Tiger install. The only 3rd party item on the menu bar is 'main menu' program.

library>preferences>systemconfig>preferences.plist? this one?

then open pref panel?

I've got the same problem. I deleted the preferences.plist, reset the PRAM, and can not find the system ui plist. Even after rechecking the options, I still can not get anything to come up, even spotlight is gone. I'm haxie free, btw.
