The menu bar icons look weird.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Edit: Do you know what caused it? Did you mess with Dock Shadow settings or something?

No, but I installed ClearDock a few months ago. Do I really need a restart or will logging out fix it?

Well, start by logging out then in and if that's not enough then try a restart. 🙂

...or just open Activity Monitor and (force) quit the process SystemUIServer. It should restart instantaneously...

Deleting/renaming/moving the file ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.systemuiserver.xxx.plist may also help...
