Hi. I just purchased a 21.5" iMac. I've been a PC user for the past 15 years... Anyway, is there any way to keep the menu bar visible in Safari?

Yes, you just don't enter FULL SCREEN mode, or if FULL SCREEN mode is important, you can always go with your mouse to the top to make the Menu Bar slide in.
You can also use CTRL+fn+F2 to access the Menu Bar.

I see.(no pun intended!) When in full screen mode it hides. In windows the task bar can be made "always" visible is what I prefer. Huge learning curve but getting use to it. I'm not comfortable in safari yet as I find Bookmarks confusing.... Do many of you use Firefox?

Somebody is going to mention it sooner or later but there are new iMacs due extremely soon. If these rumours are true, there's gonna be a new iMac within a month.
You can return your mac within 14 days strait to the Apple Store, no questions asked.

    Was your question answered?

For a second I thought you meant task bar.

The bar at the top. Can that be permanently made visible?
