Menu tab lag on Intel

One thing I noticed on macOS Sonoma on an Intel Mac such as a 2019 MacBook Air, dragging the arrow across the top bar menu tabs is very laggy and slow. Has anybody else noticed this? In macOS Ventura there was no issue with that.

Menu were rewritten in Sonoma, and are a bit slower. They are supposed to be faster in Sequoia, but I don't think it will run on your Mac.
