I'm changing over from an android blackberry, and I miss one huge feature - the "Hub". This menu merged all incoming/outgoing messages (you can tailor to include as many or few as you need) from calls, sms, email, twitter, FB, IG, etc. No need to switch from app to app - you can respond (answer, file, add to contact, etc) from within the menu. While working, you can just stay in this menu and deal with all incoming items. It also gives you a timestamped record of what you did during your day. Ofcourse all of this info is reflected in each individual app (all sms shown up sms app, same with calls, etc) if you open it separately.

I've been searching for a couple of weeks ... is there an app which does this for iphone? Or a way to do this internally?

No it's not, it keeps you organized. Why on earth would I want my Mail-conversations merged with iMessage or Whatsapp or Instagram conversations? Would be the most horrible idea ever.

If you want to see your notifications, just swipe down from the top of the phone, and there are all your unread notifications (Insta, FB, Whatsapp, iMessage/Texts, Mail, etc). You can respond directly to them, without even opening the app.

No need for a so called 'hub', thank god.

LOL - that's a matter of opinion, and use. You clearly like the separation of message types, but to me - its about keeping all of my customer's inquiries grouped together. My clients call, FB messenger, IG message, SMS, & email - so on iPhone I fluctuate between these "apps" every 15 seconds. Unfortunately when my clients place orders for products, they don't always do it in one concise message ... they remember something else and send another message. And another. And then send a photo of something missing a label, which they need more of.

So to "see & reply" to new notifications doesn't cut it for me.

To summarize: doing business with an iPhone feels as productive as using a separate phone for each app.

Given your particular needs, iOS doesn't seem like something that is for you.

"Blackberry Hub" is one of those Android apps that seems to demonstrate the differences in security limits between Android and iOS.

Is the Hub an "app"? I guess it is now, to be able to use on non-bb Android devices. But it's been the way BB has organized their last 3 platforms for +15yrs. Actually, they gave you the choice - use a hub to see msg types grouped together, or find msg in each separate app.

Security? Blackberry & Android have an agreement to build devices cooperatively. And I'm not sure that much rivals Blackberry security? I think their programming is already similar - prior to the formal agreement BB10 devices were able to load Android apps.
