menubar items keep disappearing

So every time i restart or logout/in, the clock, battery icon, airport icon, display icon, and applescript icon disappear from my menu bar. I've tried repairing permissions, resetting PRAM, and i've actually reinstalled (unrelated) OS X since it started happening and nothing has helped. Anyone have any idea whats going on/how to fix it?

Weird. What sort of reinstall did you do? Do you have any theme changers installed?

com.apple.systemuiserver.plist has keys for menu extras. I suggest to log out, then delete/move the file, and then log back in.
