For me, I just want simple interface and just monitor CPU and Temp. Although it can do more, this still does exactly what I want. Small, simple, unobtrusive and customizable. I thought of the running cat which is cute but that's about it. So this still works perfectly on my M3 iMac. This is basically my menu bar. I'm a minimalist. :)

Yes but the image there is the old version. I downloaded the latest on Macupdate page.

:) The version from MacUpdate can’t be newer then the one from the developer.

MacUpdate redirects to MenuMeters_2.1.6.1.zip (Nov 12, 2021) from https://github.com/yujitach/MenuMeters/releases
Oh yeah LOL, I meant the picture on that page looks different from what I downloaded. So perhaps its an older picture?

Edit: I'm an idiot, was looking at the wrong tab/icon! haha

Guys, I need to spread the word, I've been running MenuMeters since 2004 or so and love it, but it causes a huge problem on my M1 Max running Sonoma (and earlier MacOS).

The problem: external drives not mounting. It was driving me nuts. Had to keep restarting until it would eventually mount. Sometimes it took dozens of times. I lost hours and hours of work.

The solution: removed MM from login items, restarted, and bam, everything mounted perfectly.
