Merge mobileme mail into gmail

Is there a simple......step by step..... way to merge my mobileme mail (many sub folders) into gmail with also many sub folders. I am at present copying and pasting them into my gmail account but it is taking FOREVER.
Why am I doing it is because I am switching from iPhone to BB Torch and will be using gmail as my mail program.
Any help would be much appreciated

I assume you are using Mail app?

Setup both MobileMe and Gmail in Mail app as IMAP. Once that is done just drag the make the folders you want in GMail and drag the messages from the MobileMe folders into the GMail folders.
