Hey gang! First time poster. I've got a ton of photos on my MacBook, whatever I take on my iPhone syncs them automatically. Same deal for my wife, her iPhone photos sync to her MacBook.

If we want to have a unified library...how do we do this??

I've been told that if I simply copy her photos and import them into my Photos application, I'll lose all the metadata - when & where they were taken, etc.

Also on a related note, how do you guys manage photos in a household with multiple Macs? Seems like it'll be a pain going forward if I have to get all my wife's photos onto my laptop if that's where we decide to keep our unified Photos library. But keeping them separate seems like a bigger pain if I'm looking for photos of my son if I don't know which laptop to look on.

Help!
