have been explicit about this differentiation during the Wi-Fi iPad launch. So it wouldn't be too much of a stretch that those same principles would apply here for the 3G iPad. "Ships by" means the date/time frame in which said product(s) will leave the warehouse or other location and is placed in the possession of said courier (i.e. FedEx or UPS) for delivery to you (the customer). "Delivers by" is the date you (the customer) will have said product(s) in hand.
