I found something "new" too. You can make a design with the lightning. just drag your finger round and round and when you put your finger on a pygmy to kill them you will see your creation. I tried doing a screen shot of it but it won't capture the lightning.

I noticed that too. I like spelling words then zapping a pygmy. This is a cool app to play around with.

I'm surprised I havent stumbled on this forum yet. Thanks for all the kind words about pocket god. Hopefully the idle hands update will be out tonight and I am working on the following update right now. it should be submitted on sunday night and its called... "Hi Dracula!"
Can anyone guess what will be in this update?
btw, we talk to the guys at Chilingo so its all about friendly competition. They said they might put Pygmies in one of their updates. I would feel honored because they did such a great job on the game.

Welcome to the forums, and congrats on an app that deserves its place at the top, after so many that didn't (I'm looking at you, iFart!)
Since you're playing off iDracula, here's an idea for you. With all the iMob, iMafia, Mafia apps... Pocket Godfather! Maybe a giant Pygmie (oxymoron?) so big that you only see him from the knees down, and the pygmies worship him (kiss his toe ring?) or he steps on them! It's an offer you can't refuse!
Thanks, we didnt even think about the mafia games, but that would be hilarious. maybe he takes out a baseball bat and starts bashing the other islands over their heads knocking them off the island. he could even have a Goomah.

Maybe you could act out Gulliver's Travels... another island could fight over how they boil eggs or something silly (that's how we got Big Endian and Little Endian computer addressing). And the giant could put out fires (like the volcano or from lightning strikes) using his, umm, hose (that's not in the kiddie version of the movie). Might want to tread lightly on that one.

i'm 101% certain i'll like the update. just the simple fact that you guys are continuously trying to improve your app makes me happy. i'm very excited about all the future updates as there seems to be no limits as to what you guys can do. I will continue to tell all of my Iphone friends about this app in hopes that they will d/l it to. If I can think of any good idea's i'll make sure to post it here or at TA forums.
This app's so unique I was able to recruit 8 of my friends to buy! Its like an addiction, you don't need to sell. 😀

The update was submitted to Apple last Monday. the only reason why it was a day late was we discovered a bug on Monday that we needed to fix.
It should have been out yesterday but I guess we missed the cutoff and it should be approved on Monday.
And we are working on the "Hi Vampire!" update right now, so it should be ready to submit as soon as "Idle hands" is approved.

What's funny? The developer himself posted in this thread yesterday "Hopefully the idle hands update will be out tonight and I am working on the following update right now."
I can tell you personally that I posted an update to 100sounds 6 days ago, and it hasn't been approved yet, and the only change was the text on the (i) info page! Apple sent an email saying that the review would take extra time, but no details. I asked for a little more info and got the same message. Frankly, it's amazing the developers have been able to update the app as frequently as they have, with new features.
Maybe they are taking a lot of time now, what is your typical turn around time?
Usually we submit sunday night and it gets approved late thursday night.

Same here. Here's the email I received on Wednesday, after submitting on Sunday:
Dear Todd,
Your application 100sounds is requiring unexpected additional time for review. We apologize for the delay, and will update you with further status as soon as we are able.

lol, I don't know if we get priority service. I thin kFlick Fishing does though, they have their ad on the main page, pus they have one of those fancy game description pages.
Do you know how comanies rate those? It is just luck? Apple deems you fancy enough?

I actually checked with Apple. Yep, if they deem your app to be 'featured' you get the extra exposure and opportunity to enhance your description page. But they claim it's not advertising.
