I recently bought an iPhone X and also still have both an iphone 6s and a Galaxy S7 edge. Before getting the new device, I switched back and forth between my older phones depending on what my needs were for the day/week (I'm a little weird, I know).

Now that I have my new toy, I'd like to merge everything I have on my S7 and my 6S and put them onto the iPhone X. Is there a sane way to do this?

I am sure there is a way to merge everything in a Google app but I am not a Google person and in fact avoid it.

I am sure someone here can point you in the right direction.

What exactly would you “merge” from your S7?

If you’re talking about calendars, contacts, notes, etc., those should all come over once you sign into your Google/Gmail account in iOS settings. At least that’s how I carried mine over, years ago when I switched from Android to iOS.

I'd be looking to merge photos, texts & contacts. I didn't think there was a way to sync those when I would swap between the 6S and the S7 Edge, so I would use them independently of each other.

You could probably use Google Drive or Dropbox for photos, Gmail account for contacts (go to google.com/contacts and make sure they’re there), but I don’t know of anything for texts.
