Hi, all - hoping to get some advice here. I have a couple of music folders I would like to merge into one (on a new Mini M1). I once tried to do this by dragging a bunch of folders into iTunes, but ended up with a whole ton of duplicate files.

I'm trying to avoid that issue again (and also have to remove those duplicates). Is there an affordable (say under 30$) app that makes this process easier and more complete? Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks!

I should also say that these music file folders (about 3 different ones) have a bunch of similar and/or identical folders in them.

I've used an app called Gemini 2, in the past, it's also useful for files other than music, that are dupes.

There is another called Tunes Sweeper, though I've not used it, so can't suggest it's usefulness.

Not sure on prices on both?

Hope this helps.

I'm not sure of that sorry.

I just did a quick search and found another app ( free+ in app upgrade), that does merge though.

" Duplicate file finder" , might be worth a spin to see if it suits your needs.
It's in the app store.
