From the Aussies I know, I'd agree but then again, I'm a Scot which I don't think comes under the 'Pom' defintion... does it? And if not, what do Scots come under in Aussie terminology?

Nup, you're a Scot. No way are Scots poms. Poms are the English and sometimes if we can't pick the accent we'll lump the Welsh in there as well - until they tell us that they're Welsh.

Rain in the Pacific Northwest again this holiday. And every-time I hear songs about White Christmases and Snow in the store's speakers I just go  Haven't had a white christmas in oh I think 7 years.

Happy Holidays everyone :)

Merry Christmas everyone. It's only a few more hours to go for me, the weather is a temperate 18°C and I've got the Sambuca nicely child. I hope everyone has a great one. :)

Merry Christmas Nermal.

Ah. Nothing like a Southerly Buster!!!

Went from 38 to 22 in about 2 hours. My apartment is still fairly warm cause it faces west and thus gets sun from abut 11am till well after 8pm.

Just watching the Carols by Candlelight in Melbourne, an hour and a half till Christmas!!

Just had a Skype convo with my Dad who is off flying the muslim pilgrims from Indonesia to Saudi Arabia. We're all a bit stressed but he seems fine and said the security is really good. He's got one more round trip to fly and then he'll be back just after New Year's. Hope he gets back OK.

Tomorrow I'll work lunch and then hopefully be finished in time to get the bus up to my folks' house for left-overs dinner and the unwrapping of the goods. Hopefully there'll be some nice glossy white products with a picture of an Apple on the box. No iPod though - no graduate, no iPod - ah well, there'll be new ones out by July next year so no biggy.

Boxing Day Test on the 26th. Yeah, it's not the same on TV but hey, I'm going to the Sydney one so I don't mind.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Yeah gotta love you crazy loveable Scots

Groundskeeper Willy: Brothers and sisters are natural enemies. Like Englishmen and Scots. Or Welshmen and Scots. Or Japanese and Scots. Or Scots and other Scots. Damn Scots! They ruined Scotland!

Daryl was worth it just to see Plucka again. Looks like they haven't washed the suit since Hey hey was cancelled.

Love the Boxing Day test - it's one of my ambitions to be in Melbourne one year for the first day. Oh well, we've got a big telly so that will have to suffice. So glad this southerly's come through now - might get some sleep.

My god. Its Christmas Eve here, the sky is blue, the sun is bright, and its *not* freezing... :O Woah..

Well, that's it folks.

Merry Christmas. May the Fat Man rain gifts upon you that you could not believe in your wildest dreams.

And by Fat Man I mean Santa, not this guy....

¿qué?

I got the first part but the second part makes no sense.

"yay we celebrate your Christmas tonight and all we so tomorrow is eat a sleep"? What does that mean?

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Chundles, I know exactly how you felt in the heat! it was still 33 degrees at 1am the other night down here in Vic.

I was recently in Tassie, and went hiking along the Freycinet peninsula which included Wineglass Bay. It truly is beautiful as is Cradle Mt.! Go check it out if you have a chance. ;)

Merry Christmas again!

Don't worry, you're not alone... ;) I'm just getting ready to head over to my parents' place right now for our Xmas Eve feast. Yummy! :)

Oh, I think there will be a few of us, myself being one of them... ;) I'll probably pop on early afternoon or so, just before we head to my wife's parents' for Christmas Day dinner. And then perhaps later that evening too... ;)
